The Greater Bay Area is moving fast — this is your chance to see it up close.

Unlock the ultimate gateway to innovation! HKBU staff, students, and alumni are cordially invited to join the Qianhai Exploration Day Trip - an immersive, one-day experiential journey into the heart of Qianhai, Shenzhen, one of the region’s most electrifying innovation zones.

This exclusive trip strips away the textbook theories and takes you right onto the frontlines. You will step inside leading startup hubs, explore HKBU’s own cutting-edge Mainland innovation platform, and tour premier youth-support facilities. Whether your goal is to commercialize research, scale a business, or launch a cross-border career, this journey offers first-hand exposure to real-world entrepreneurship, powerful cross-border collaborations, and the massive opportunities awaiting Hong Kong talent in the Greater Bay Area.

What You'll Visit
  • The E-Hub Flagship (Block No. 5): Step into the high-energy epicentre where raw ideas scale into infinite realities. We’ll tour the state-of-the-art incubation zones that are actively breaking down cross-border barriers, unlocking massive venture capital, and giving young entrepreneurs an elite ecosystem to conquer the Mainland market
  • HKBU’s Qianhai Tech & Innovation Institute: Experience the pride of HKBU’s brand-new, 1,500 m² flagship cross-border base. This isn't just an office, it’s a dynamic bridge connecting our university’s brightest minds, researchers, and tech startups directly with Mainland manufacturing might and institutional funding
  • The GBA Co-Living Space (Short-Term Apartments): Sneak peek into a lifestyle designed entirely around young ambitious professionals. Walk through the ultra-modern, heavily subsidized short-term apartments built specifically so Hong Kong youth can live comfortably, network effortlessly, and thrive without the stress of mainland housing logistics
  • XGRIDS (Alumni Success Story): Witness the ultimate proof of what’s possible. Get a mind-blowing, live demonstration from an elite deep-tech firm founded right here by our own HKBU alumni.
