HKTDC Entrepreneur Day 2024

The Knowledge Transfer Office of HKBU partnered with the Career Centre of the Student Affairs Office to take part in the HKTDC E-day, showcased the projects of eight promising student startups and innovative teams.

Representative from Motion Expert Hong Kong Limited, shared their insights on how to blend art and technology to transform the landscape of cinema in Hong Kong at the exhibition.

The Knowledge Transfer Office of HKBU collaborated with the Student Affairs Office's Career Centre to participate in the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's Entrepreneur Day (HKTDC E-day), which took place successfully from 5 to 6 December. This event invited eight promising student startups and innovative teams to showcase their projects.

Among the exhibitors, two projects were from HKBU’s startups: Domain Technology Limited and Motion Expert Hong Kong Limited.

  • Domain Technology Limited 
    Transforming 2D images into realistic 3D models using cutting-edge AI and computer vision techniques. This project aims to bridge the gap between 2D and 3D experiences, opening up new possibilities for digital content creation and immersive environments.
  • Motion Expert Hong Kong Limited 
    Fusing art and technology to revolutionise Hong Kong cinema. By utilising a century-spanning cinematic database and an AI engine, they are committed to unleashing creativity and fostering collaboration between generations of filmmakers.

Entrepreneur Day (E-day) is HKTDC’s flagship start-up event that promotes entrepreneurship by offering a wealth of opportunities and tailored support services for start-ups. This event provides a valuable opportunity for start-up teams to build business networks, establish partnerships, and connect with investors.
