Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) has developed and implemented comprehensive and quality assured patent application and patent audit procedure at HKBU. 

The patent application procedure lays out clear steps for initialising a patent application at HKBU with responsible parties of each step.   It requires careful documentation of the invention and information required to determine the ownership of the intellectual property rights (IPRs).   This is essential to best protect HKBU and the inventors.
