Closing Date:19 November 2026
We are pleased to invite expressions of interest for the commercializing of the A microfluidic flow cytometric molecular analyser and its detection method developed by Prof. Bo LEI of Visiting Professor of the Department of Chemistry of HKBU. (KTO ref: G01-LB-MCAT)
Description
This technology is an innovative microfluidic-based molecular diagnostic system designed to overcome the high costs and complexity of traditional flow cytometry. It integrates cell staining, cell lysis, and genetic material extraction into a single, streamlined microfluidic chip process. By utilizing a unique particle-mediated genetic material transfer method, the system replaces the need for expensive optical modules and highly specific staining reagents required in conventional devices, while maintaining high detection precision.
Note
This invitation of expression of interest is made without prejudice. This invitation does not constitute a tender, and HKBU is not bound to accept any offer, regardless of monetary value. The final decision regarding the commercialization of the technology rests with HKBU.
