TSSSU

An “eligible applicant member” must be from one of the following:

- teaching or research staff of HKBU;
- full-time or part-time student of HKBU (except sub-degree programmes);
- alumni of HKBU who have graduated for no more than 10 calendar years from the date stipulated by HKBU (this refers to the Close of Application Date of HKBU TSSSU).

Application for HKBU TSSSU must be on team basis. (i.e. more than one person) comprising at least one eligible applicant member who is/was not taking sub-degree programme and must be “a significant team member”. 

The awardee must be a company registered under the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance, regardless of size. HKBU TSSSU award fund must be paid to the awardee’s Hong Kong bank account.

Priority will be accorded to IPR developed and protected at HKBU.

Important Note:

• The Guidelines are subject to further refinements and are not final, but they do serve as a good reference. Please contact the Knowledge Transfer Office for any updates to the Guidelines prior to submitting your HKBU TSSSU application. 
  
• For HKBU Alumni, please send email to kto_tsssu@hkbu.edu.hk for requesting relevant application documents. 

*HKBU’s Integrated Research and Information Management System (IRIMS) was launched in 2021.

The results will be announced to the applicants within 6 months from the Close of Application Date.  Any unforeseen delay will be announced to all applicants as soon as possible. 

Awardee is required to confirm their acceptance of the offer within fourteen (14) calendar days via email. Otherwise, KTO will consider the awardee withdrawing their application after the said period
