This project focuses on developing innovative groundbreaking skincare products using a natural bioactive compound, discovered from the well-known Chinese medicines Dendrobium, which has officially been registered from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China as a new cosmetic ingredient. The bioactive molecules have demonstrated efficacy in reducing oxidative stress, inhibiting melanin production, and protecting against UV-induced skin damage. This innovation bridges Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern cosmeceutical science, providing a sustainable and scientifically validated alternative to the predominantly synthetic skincare products currently prevalent in the market.
