HKBU Start-up Showcased at InnoEx 2025

HKBU continued its active engagement in InnoEx 2025, a flagship innovation and technology event jointly organised by the Government of HKSAR and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. This year’s exhibition, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 13 to 16 April 2025, brought together leading technology experts, entrepreneurs, and investors from Hong Kong and around the world to explore the latest breakthroughs in smart city solutions and high-tech development.

This year, HKBU was proud to feature TadReamk Limited, an innovative start-up nurtured by the University. TadReamk is committed to empowering business owners, entrepreneurs, and creators by safeguarding their intellectual property in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

TadReamk Limited presented two pioneering solutions at InnoEx 2025:

• TadReamk Eye: An innovative trademark similarity search tool that leverages multi-dimensional analysis-including colour, wording, and design code, to provide accurate and explainable results that go beyond traditional image or pixel-based comparisons.

• TadReamk Create: An AI-powered interactive platform for trademark creation, enabling users to generate unique and effective trademarks with the assistance of advanced artificial intelligence.

By integrating human perception and advanced technology, TadReamk’s solutions address the growing need for robust intellectual property protection in smart cities like Hong Kong, where innovation and creativity thrive.
