HKBU Showcases New Drug and Healthcare Solutions at ASGH 2024

HKBU was proud to participate in the prestigious Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH) 2024. This was a significant platform for us to present the pioneering life science solutions crafted by our 10 startups and research groups. Our goal was to foster connections with healthcare experts and industry stakeholders, aiming to play a role in the shared progress of the healthcare sector.

During the event, Professor BIAN Zhaoxiang, Associate Vice-President (Chinese Medicine Development) and Director of the Centre for Chinese Herbal Medicine Drug Development Limited, led a thematic session on Chinese Medicine in Modern Healthcare. Also, Dr Ashok IYASWAMY, Research Assistant Professor, Chinese Medicine - Teaching and Research Division, participated as one of the speakers in another thematic session on Investing in the Future of Neuroscience. 

Besides, 3 of our exhibited start-ups and projects were presented during the project pitching session, to share their insights and technology solutions for health and life science development.
