We are pleased to invite expressions of interest for the commercializing of the Herbal Gut Care Formula developed by Prof. YU Zhiling of Professor of the Department of Chinese Medicine - Teaching and Research Division of HKBU. (KTO ref: KH-HGCF)
Description
This formulation is composed of edible herbs and has been shown in experimental studies to be safe and effective in helping prevent inflammation-related intestinal cancer development and to have anti-colorectal cancer benefits. The formula works by clearing internal heat, detoxifying the body, removing dampness, cooling the blood, and stopping bleeding. It helps clear damp-heat accumulation in the intestines and supports the maintenance of intestinal microenvironmental balance. It is suitable for people with a damp-heat constitution, those with sensitive or recurrent intestinal discomfort, and individuals who concern about intestinal health or have a family history of related conditions. The formulation may help relieve symptoms caused by damp-heat accumulation, such as sticky stools, difficulty in defecation, hematochezia (bloody stool), and sensations of heaviness, swelling, or pain in the anal and intestinal regions.
Note
This invitation of expression of interest is made without prejudice. This invitation does not constitute a tender, and HKBU is not bound to accept any offer, regardless of monetary value. The final decision regarding the commercialization of the technology rests with HKBU.
