Exploring the Intersection of Art-Tech and Intellectual Property Through Annual Flagship Forum

The HKBU Intellectual Property Forum 2023, jointly organized by the Knowledge Transfer Office and the University Library, took place on 1 December. Under the theme "Art-Tech and Intellectual Property Rights," the forum brought together eminent intellectual property experts from the government and private sectors, shedding light on various topics related to Art-Tech, digital humanity, and their implications for intellectual property rights. 

 

Supported by the Intellectual Property Department of the HKSAR Government and the University of Macau, the forum attracted approximately 140 participants, both online and in-person. The event commenced with welcome speeches delivered by Dr Ken Yeung, Acting Director of the Knowledge Transfer Office of HKBU, and Mr Christopher Chan, University Librarian. 

 

Distinguished speakers from renowned intellectual property firms, including IDEA Intellectual Ltd, Marks & Clerk Hong Kong, and ELLALAN, delivered presentations that underscored the immense value of intellectual property rights in today's world. Their insightful analysis provided a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
