With an aim to facilitate immersive learning for new venture creation, the Business Entrepreneurship Support and Training Programme (BEST) under the Knowledge Transfer Office of Hong Kong Baptist University hosted the first HKBU Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in 2017, with entrepreneurship consultants from HKBU’s global partner, one of the premier institutions in Silicon Valley - UC Berkeley, flying over to Hong Kong to help expand the global perspectives of students and foster entrepreneurial culture across campus.
This Bootcamp provides a one-of-a-kind experiential learning experience for young aspiring entrepreneurs around the globe to exchange ideas freely with each other in a fun and collaborative environment. It is also a stepping stone for their ideas to take flight and put into real practice.
The Bootcamp has already attracted over 200 like-minded participants from Hong Kong, mainland China, US and UK to attend sessions that weave together lectures and interactive game-based exercises, with ample opportunities for them to get funding, seek real-life advice and receive one-on-one mentoring from industry experts and leading figures from various fields and industries.
