CIE of HKBU is organizing a Professional Seminar in Entrepreneurship with details as follow:
Topic: Entrepreneurship Morality and Ethics at Times of Crisis (企業家逆境求勝的個人修養)
Date: 15 Sept. 2016
Venue: SMC802 (HKBU Shek Mun Campus Room 802)
Dr. Gordon Wong (Division Leader of Business, CIE, HKBU)
What is it about?
Moral entrepreneurship is the fine art of recycling evil into good by taking advantage of situations given or constructed as crises. It should be seen as the ultimate generalization of the entrepreneurial spirit. After briefly surveying the careers of two speakers of the moral entrepreneur (Ms. Joyce Mak Man Mei and Mr. Nick Ip Ka Po), we will explore the motives of moral entrepreneurs in terms of their standing responsibility to society and which now equips them with the skill set needed to do significant good.
