The Government is now calling for grant applications: Health Care and Promotion Fund (HCPF). HCPF was established by the Hong Kong SAR Government with an injection of HK$80 million for the purpose of increasing health promotion and disease prevention. Applications are now invited for: 1) non-research projects on health promotion, and 2) proposals under the Seed Funding Scheme.
Non-Research Health Promotion Projects
Funding for an approved project will normally not exceed HK$300,000. Upon completion of project, an applicant who wishes to propagate an effective programme to reach a wider target group may apply for extension of project. The total funding for such extended project with the original project will generally not exceed HK$500,000.
Seed Funding Scheme
The Seed Funding Scheme aims to facilitate the mobilisation of local resources to promote health in the community and encourage partnership between public, private, and non-governmental organisations. Funding for an approved project will generally not exceed HK$500,000.
Please note that the closing date for this round of application is 31 July 2013. Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) is assigned as the facilitating office for this grant application, and will coordinate for signatures of Vice-President (Research and Development) and Director of Finance. All completed applications are advised to be sent to KTO first on or before 16 July 2013.
