Introduction
Holistic Startup Training Programme (HSTP) is a comprehensive entrepreneurship training programme for HKBU researchers, staff and students, who wish to turn innovative technologies / business ideas into viable and feasible business venture, as well as to make impact to the society.
This Programme comprises of the online courses, seminars and one-on-one tailor-made consultations.
For researchers, this Programme will amplify your research impact and give you a clearer sense of how to develop your technologies into commercial products, identify concrete commercialisation pathways forward.
For staff and students, this Programme not only paves the way for commercialisation of your innovations and protect your IP, but also empower yourself to interact better, and capture any audience at school and beyond.

- understand and apply design thinking methodology;
- break down a big problem into smaller pieces; choose objectives, strategies; definite metrics for success;
- ideate; brainstorm; give constructive feedback; connect the dots, merge ideas;
- rapid prototyping; versioning; advanced prototyping techniques; and
- understand the Protocol; beautiful accident; impact measurement and theory of change; business modeling and scalability.

HSTP welcomes HKBU researchers, students, staff and stakeholders to participate.
Most suited for those who wish to amplify the research impact, for early stage ventures, and those who wish to commercialize their ideas with impact to the society. It is also suited for individuals who wish to empower their own interpersonal, design thinking and presentation skills for their studies and works.
Available spots are limited on first-come, first-serve basis.
Priorities will be given to TSSSU application teams, BEST Ambassadors, and teams with innovation / business ideas.

# Committed HKBU participants who have 80% attendance can win a scholarship of HK$2,000 per module. The HK$2,000 will be reimbursed after the each module with 80% attendance (Based on the attendance record by KTO). The programme fee is non-refundable for withdrawal or cancellation once the payment is confirmed.
Half of the team members of each team must attend any classes organised for the “Holistic Startup Training Programme” during the period stipulated by HKBU in order to fulfill the eligibility requirements set out in the “Guidelines for HKBU Technology Start-up Support Scheme for Universities”.
