Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at University Chicago

Six HKBU students successfully joined the CUPP programme and attended its training workshop from 6 July - 11 August, 2018

Cyberport University Partnership Programme (CUPP) 2018 is a FinTech-focused entrepreneurship programme for local university students to unleash their potential, gain insights into the global market, and receive world-class Entrepreneurship Bootcamp and mentorship in Hong Kong and in the US. This programme gives participants an opportunity to take part in an Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at University of Chicago so as to obtain valuable mentorship and insights from FinTech industry players, demonstrate their FinTech business ideas to investors, win HK$100,000 cash grant by Cyberport Creative Micro Fund, and also gain the Cyberport Incubation Programme interview opportunity.

Two teams “Excelsior” and “iVi” out of five teams from HKBU successfully won tickets to join the Cyberport University Partnership Programme (CUPP) 2018. They are required to attend a series of activities organised by Cyberport and other relevant parties such as orientation meetings, training sessions, review meetings, and mentorship sessions, so as to equip themselves to join the Chicago Bootcamp on 18-26 August, 2018. Their final business presentation will be held in the CUPP Demo Day on 16 October, 2018.
